Job Description

 

Our Client is looking for motivated, qualified candidates with previous public accounting experience to become future leaders of our firm.  Candidates will work closely with our partner group to serve our customers and help build our practice.  The position is a full-time position but part-time hours outside of busy season (May-December) would be considered.  Primary responsibilities include:

 

·         Review and/or prepare financial statements and corresponding workpapers

·         Manage multiple client projects

·         Issue identification including performing research and analysis necessary to solve problems

·         Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management throughout the year

·         Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members and enhance client service

·         Understand the client’s industry and recognize trends and industry developments that impact the client

·         Identifying new potential business opportunities for the Firm by identifying client needs through the client management process

·         Preparation of business and individual tax returns

 

Desired Skills & Experience

 

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

·         Active CPA license a plus

·         3-5 years minimum public accounting experience serving privately-held businesses including compilations, reviews and audits

·         Candidates must be detail oriented with ability to multi-task

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         Skilled problem-solver with strong research and analytic ability

·         Dedication to teamwork and leadership

·         Business and individual tax compliance
